Part 1
What is it you desire?
A house, a new car, a wonderful spouse? Children? More money in your bank account?
Do you know you can have whatever you want?
Well, the Bible and every Law of Attraction literature says ‘Yes, you can’.
… If you believe.
The trick is to believe.
But that’s easier said than done. How do you believe and bring forth what you desire?
By convincing yourself that you can have it. Or better still, that it is yours now!
But how do I convince myself, you ask?
Well, there are various ways, some of which I’ll be speaking to you about in future teachings.
But, for today, we’ll be talking about just one of those ways. This one is arguably the most commonly known.
Pentecostal Christians call it ‘Confessing’. Law of Attraction users call it ‘Affirming’.
If you run a Google search on the word Affirmations, you’ll find tons of material. Using affirmations like these are a good idea.
They can work amazingly well for you … provided you use them correctly.
But, have you thought about crafting your own affirmations? Ones that are specifically tailor-made to your situation?
Why? I hear you asking.
Because we’ll believe it more if it is personal. We’ll believe it more if it comes out of our deepest desires.
If you’ll like to know how to create your personal affirmations, keep reading.
Writing your own affirmations is like setting a goal. But this time, you’ll write it in past tense and add a magical ingredient.
Can you guess what that ingredient is?
Gratitude.
In your writing, you express your gratitude that your goal has been achieved.
For example, let’s say you want X amount of money. You write:
I’m so happy and grateful that I have X amount of money now.
Or, I’m so happy and grateful that I’m married to the man I love
Or, I’m so happy and grateful that I was promoted to Deputy Manager of my department. I love the work and I love the pay. My take-home pay is more than what I was earning in my previous position
And so on.
But, it’s one thing to craft a great affirmation, it’s another to use it powerfully.
Next time, I’ll teach you one powerful way to use your affirmations that is guaranteed to work.
I’ve used it to manifest stuff from a great apartment to a wonderful relationship to a new job.
Till then, stay lit.
